What Our Clients Are Saying About Us!
“Excellent, loving, professional environment for daycare and boarding. Very personalized and loving treatment of my dear and precious puppy. Bark n Park is the finest facility I have used in 25 years of dog ownership.”

“Can’t imagine a better place for our dogs. It’s managed and operated by people who know how to handle animals and who are professional in every way. Our dog actually became a better citizen through the supervised interactions with other dogs. It’s our official “dog school.”

“Decker loves playing inside and outside with his old and new friends in activity and temperament matched groups. He knows and loves the staff members and appreciates nap times. I love knowing that Decker is safe and happy and appreciates the caring and very accommodating staff who have helped raise Decker from his first days as a shelter rescue.”
Helen R, parent of Decker
“I know that when I drop off Lucky at Bark n Park he is going to have a great, fun day! The staff is wonderful and seem to be like Lucky’s second family. He can’t wait to go inside when I bring him there. Lucky was a rescue dog and didn’t socialize well. Under Lynn’s watchful eye, he has blossomed and made many (dog) friends there.”
Amy, parent of Lucky
“Rosie loves going to Bark n Park for daycare and always seems fine with boarding as well. It is so nice to be able to go on vacation or just out for the day and know that she is well taken care of and happy! Rosie loves playing with the other dogs, and she loves the staff as well. I now Lynn and her staff are kind to the dogs because she can’t wait to go back.”

“I live in Evanston but work in Vernon Hills so wanted a doggie daycare close to work because my hours are long and sometimes the commute is brutal. I did not want to worry about not making it back in time to pick my dog up from daycare. As a result, I had visited several other doggie daycare facilities in the Vernon Hills area and was sadly underwhelmed. Happily I found Bark N Park.
When I stopped by Bark N Park they welcomed me in, were understanding and gentle with my new pup (I had only had him a couple days at that point), and showed me the facility saying as we went through each area the dogs would bark but would settle down as we to another area of the facility. Finally! Someone who understood that dogs bark and it is OK! Speaking of the facility, the indoor play portion is large, light, well divided, and airy.. The outdoor area is HUGE and well divided for large, medium, and small dogs with great toys for the dogs to play in and on. There are two rooms (one for small and medium dogs, the other for large) with size appropriate cages with Coolaroo type dog beds for nap time as well as a lunch space for those who bring lunches. The staff is attentive. My dog is still a puppy with an unknown past so they reinforce the basic puppy manners we work on at home. He gets consistent messages. Two legged kids should be so lucky! Their hours are very convenient. I use them M-F while I am at work. But it is good to know if I have to work on the weekends their schedule can accommodate that as well.
Overall, I am very happy with Bark N Park. My dog comes home nicely tired and loves going back the next day.”

“Oh little Lucy. Wish we could take you on our trip but you won’t fit in the plane. So off you go to doggy day care for boarding. The Bark Park, located around the corner from Lambs Farm, has a terrific indoor space. They separate the dogs according to size — so the little guys aren’t run over by the big guys. Not that my Boston Terrier cares. She’s ready to wrestle with whoever is available. The play area is very open and they always have a human on hand. Dogs with social problems aren’t welcome — yes, it may be exclusive that way but I’ve taught my dog how to act properly. Next week, I’m going to teach her how to drink tea. One thing that I absolutely love about the Bark Park is they have a back yard. So as long as the weather isn’t too severe, the dogs get plenty of time outside. Fresh air, running around, smelling each other. It’s a dog’s heaven. The kennels are well kept and clean. I was able to bring Lucy’s bedding at home so she felt more comfortable and I even brought her food from home. My high maintenance girl has a sensitive tummy! Oh. And all of the dogs get naps. At first, I thought this would be a little weird. But can you imagine running around for 12 hours a day without any downtime. I didn’t think so. And I wouldn’t expect my girl to do so either. The Bark Park is priced right and is a trusted place to keep the pooch during our travels.”

“Prime location very large play areas for sorted groups of dogs based on their play style, the outside yards are also great very large and they allow a lot of running around, kenneling is minimal during the day (they will utilize a kennel if you choose to feed your dog lunch or dinner which is your option) unlike other daycares I have brought my dog to… some places I can imagine it’s just easier for them to crate or kennel my dog because she is so high energy. Lynn (the owner) and her staff which includes her extremely knowledgeable daughter will do whatever it takes to have your dog fit into any group, they do an extensive job training their dog handlers which by the way your dog will always be supervised with an individual in the pen with them always, I’ve tried two other daycares for my dog and feel silly I used their services for a while before I found bark ‘n park I guess I didn’t realize there was anything better for the amount of money I was able to afford so Thanks!”

“Bark n Park is invaluable for the stimulation and socialization it provides for my 108lb high energy pup. I know he loves it because he’s never happy to see me when I pick him up! I’m grateful to know he is in good hands, and I don’t mind the two days of tired dog I get after a visit.”

“Bark n Park is a magical place. Our dog, Gracie, is cared for with loving care by an expert staff, and they create an environment of fun, energy, creative play and match dogs for positive socialization. Lynn and her staff are experts in dog knowledge and behavior, and the pictures tell it all. Dogs enjoy a magical, fun place with a caring, loving staff.”
